Longleaf Middle School Library Media Center is open from 7:15 am to 2:45 pm most school days. Students can easily visit the media center during the school day with a pass from their teacher.
How many books can I check out?
6th, 7th & 8th graders may check out up to 5 books

How long can I keep my books?
All books are checked out for 2 weeks at a time. Students can renew books by bringing them into the media center or logging into Destiny and renewing online. To log into Destiny, use your student ID number (NOT email address) and password. Students are responsible for keeping up with their due dates in their printed agendas, weekly email reminders from Destiny, or by logging into their Destiny accounts. Parents can sign up for weekly email reminders by contacting Mrs. Johnson at [email protected].
Do I get charged for overdue books?
Students will be charged for books that are not returned. Replacement costs can be obtained in Parent Portal or in emails sent directly to students each week reminding them of their library account information.
